Job Title: Strategic Bid and Quantity Surveying Expert

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced strategic bid and quantity surveying expert to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the end-to-end tendering process and quantity surveying activities, especially within marine construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, compile, and submit tenders and bids in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct thorough project analysis, including drawings, specifications, and related documents for accurate cost estimation.
  • Develop detailed cost breakdowns, BOQs, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Project Management) to gather technical and commercial inputs for tender submissions.
  • Deliver high-quality tender presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide effective cost control during project execution.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry developments to stay ahead.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in bidding and quantity surveying.
  • Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage full tendering process independently.
  • Proficient in cost estimation tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in marine construction is a significant plus.
