As a **Quantity Surveyor,**you
- play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects.
- will be responsible for estimating project costs, monitoring budgets, and ensuring that the project remains financially viable from inception to completion.

**1.**Cost Estimation:/Budget Management**
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Develop, monitor, and control project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Implement effective cost control measures, regularly monitoring and analyzing project costs.

**2.**Tendering and Contracts**:

- Assist in the tendering process by preparing and evaluating tender documents.
- Review contractor and supplier bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.

**3.**Value Engineering**:

- Collaborate with the design and construction teams to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising project quality.

**4.**Client and Stakeholder Communication**:

- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project costs and financial status.

**5.**Compliance and Regulations**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to cost management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional accreditation is desirable.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
