Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at 825 Glaxo Wellcome Manufacturing Pte Ltd. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of your team, demonstrating leadership behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of systems, equipment, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure the reliability of plant equipment and systems by managing team members to implement condition monitoring and methods, conduct equipment measurement and improvement on repeating failures, evaluate and analyze data, provide recommendations, and follow up on monitoring.
  • Identify in-process equipment/system conditions by collecting, classifying, analyzing, and interpreting condition-based monitoring data.
  • Assess equipment and instrument reliability/acceptability in comparison to specifications.
  • Determine the acceptability of equipment/instrument installation by conducting assessments and physical checks/tests.
  • Maintain equipment reliability operations by following equipment reliability/maintenance procedures, notifying any equipment defects or deterioration conditions that require the attention of the maintenance team or relevant parties.
  • Ensure all routine planned maintenance, calibration, routine planned repair/replacement, and maintenance activities under the maintenance team are completed on schedule.
  • Provide support to new project construction and commissioning activities.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation.
  • Highly knowledgeable and competent in their field of work.
  • Strong technical knowledge and well-versed in all technical aspects.
  • Demonstrate excellent GMP behavior and safe practices.
  • Substantial fault-finding and trouble-shooting experience.
  • Strong leadership in team management.
  • Good analytical skills in investigation.
  • Lead complex issues investigation and detailed troubleshooting.
