Support Role for Teacher Assistant

The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to teachers and department heads, ensuring a seamless learning environment.

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of educational resources, including worksheets, teaching materials, and examination papers.
  • Manage the collection, distribution, and inventory of teaching and learning materials, guaranteeing efficient access for students and staff.
  • Maintain and upkeep science laboratories and mathematics resource rooms, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Prepare materials and apparatus for science experiments and practical assessments, fostering hands-on learning experiences.
  • Support the procurement and replenishment of laboratory items, ensuring continuous availability.
  • Assist with classroom groupwork activities, promoting collaborative learning and student engagement.
  • Support activities in various science learning areas, providing expert guidance and assistance.
  • Provide assistance during school programs and examination periods, maintaining a calm and organized atmosphere.
Requirements
  • A minimum Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level qualification, with at least 3 'O' Level passes.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a science laboratory assistant or similar role, demonstrating expertise and commitment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and students.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
