Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Coaching and Facilitation: Coach and facilitate the Scrum team in planning and executing project requirements, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Project Planning and Progress Tracking: Assist in planning iterations, developing project backlogs, defining requirements, guiding the team, and tracking progress. Report progress to key stakeholders and ensure deliverable quality and consistency.
  • Review Participation: Participate in all reviews with the Authority, ensuring proper documentation and approval of discussions and decisions.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Ensure compliance with confidentiality and security requirements as per the Contract, Official Secrets Act, and Authority's directives.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of all development and maintenance activities, including proper accounting and administrative records.
  • Progress Reporting: Use and update the project backlog and other artefacts to track project progress. Inform the Authority of any delivery slippages and recommend alternatives.
Requirements:
  • Qualification: Minimum three (5) years of experience as a Scrum Master managing Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) or equivalent teams.
  • Certification: Certified Scrum Master or equivalent.
  • Scrum Framework Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Scrum framework and ability to train others.
  • Planning and Coordination: Proficiency in planning iterations, developing product backlogs, and coordinating with team members.
  • Facilitation: Skilled in facilitating meetings and ensuring productive discussions.
  • Progress Tracking: Ability to use progress tracking tools like Product Backlogs, Sprint Backlogs, and burndown charts.
  • Problem-solving: Competence in identifying potential project impediments and proposing solutions.
Preferred Skills:
  • Coaching: Experience in coaching teams and individuals.
  • Kanban: Knowledge of Kanban principles and practices.
  • Scrum: Deep understanding of Scrum principles and practices.
  • User Stories: Ability to write and prioritize user stories.
  • Agile: Experience in Agile project management.
  • Transparency: Ability to maintain transparency in project progress and communication.
  • Conflict Resolution: Experience in resolving conflicts and issues.
  • Accounting: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Compliance: Understanding of compliance requirements and regulations.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management.
  • JIRA: Familiarity with JIRA project management tool.
