1) Project Manager (Application, Java)


Job Description

Leads one or more small to medium sized projects with low complexity. Assists in managing smaller aspects of larger programs. Assists in defining requirements and designing and implementing project modifications and development.


Skills

  • o Two or more years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience in application maintenance or delivery. Experience in Singapore Public Sector would be an added advantage.
  • o Experience in the full SDLC cycle. Prior experience working with multiple Java applications would be an added advantage.
  • o Creates and implements project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for one or more small to medium sized projects. Prepares detailed statements of work and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders regarding various project aspects and adjusts accordingly. Participates in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures.
  • o Assists in the staffing of projects. Organizes project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives. Participates in work as applicable.
  • o Manages costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables. Ensures schedule and budget are met.
  • o Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies possible project risks. Recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.
  • o Interfaces with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to the project which may involve changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule.
  • o Manages client, company, and project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining, providing and monitoring project metrics.
  • o Oversees assigned personnel for projects. Assigns work and provides direction with regards to timeliness and completion of project objectives. Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines. Provides performance input upon completion of project.

2) Scrum Master


Job Description

  • Provide leadership to serve Scrum Team and the larger organisation.
  • Coach Scrum team in self-management and cross functionality. Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone.
  • Help Scrum team to focus on creating high value increments to meet Definition of Done.
  • Manage Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog with Scrum Team.
  • Facilitate Sprint planning and execution.
  • Host daily stand-up meeting.
  • Track Scrum team’s progress and remove impediments to the team's progress.
  • Protect the Scrum team from over-committing and scope creep
  • Sprint retrospective: Note areas for improvement and action items for future sprints
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues. Work with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Development team to produce high quality deliverables
  • Facilitating Stakeholders, Business users, and Scrum team collaboration to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/Project leader.
  • Certified Scrum Master in Agile Methodology.
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts
  • Project management tools expertise.
  • Domain knowledge in Financial Services industry is compulsory.
  • Java, Micro Services Framework knowledge is preferable.
  • Good personal computer and business solutions software skills.
  • Leadership, Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with team members
  • Communication skills to work effectively with Scrum team members, support personnel, and clients
  • Ability to work independently as a Servant Leader and as part of a team.
