Job Title: Field Instrumentation Specialist

  • Execute operational activities of the project within timeframe, resources and contract specifications to deliver high-quality results.">
    • Lead, execute and hands-on the geotechnical instrumentation installation and monitoring works to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Assist the SIE/PM to resolve site operation issues and ensure timely completion of project objectives.
  • Involve in preparation, design and submission of drawings, reports and relevant documents to stakeholders as required.
  • Plan daily site activities, monitor project progress and work done quantity to meet project targets.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawing requirements and maintain good quality of works including calibration of monitoring equipment.
  • Obtain any authorities' or in-house clearances before work commencement and coordinate with main civil contractor on daily site works.
  • Involve in geotechnical instrumentation testing, data acquisition, data verification, processing and presentation to provide accurate insights.
  • Prepare, review and submit the instrument monitoring report to stakeholders as required.
  • Attend project meetings, stakeholder engagement and site inspections to ensure effective communication.
  • Maintain good recordkeeping and update records accordingly.
  • Comply with internal and external WSHE requirements throughout the course of work.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geology or other relevant background to perform job duties effectively.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of construction experience. Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment.
  • Accountable, meticulous and deliverable individual who can meet task assignments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders.
