Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

The role of Senior Construction Manager involves providing high-level support to the project team by overseeing and managing construction activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive construction plans and programs.
  • Coordinating and supervising site works, including setting up the site and erecting/dismantling tower cranes.
  • Ensuring all inspection activities are conducted according to the inspection and test plan for structural works.
  • Monitoring and supervising Foremen/Sub-contractors to ensure compliance with inspection and test plans, quality procedures, and workmanship standards.
  • Resolving drawing discrepancies before work begins and collaborating with technical teams and consultants to settle drawing issues.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in building and/or civil engineering.
  • Familiarity with relevant drawings, specifications, and details.
  • Completion of at least one building/civil project worth S$100M or more.
  • Technical expertise in Foundation, Structural, and Civil works.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Good knowledge of method statements.
  • Understanding of planning access and site setup plans.
  • Able to read and interpret drawings to resolve site issues.
