Experienced Floor and Wall Tiler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled floor and wall tiler to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in laying and fixing tiles, including natural stone, ceramic, and porcelain.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, repairing, and applying adhesive and grout as required.
  • Lay tiles to exacting standards, using various techniques to ensure precise fitting and alignment.
  • Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles, using power tools and hand cutting methods where necessary.
  • Ensure all tile installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on site to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in floor and wall tiling.
  • Strong knowledge of different types of tile, including installation methods and materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid certification in first aid and CPR.
  • Reliable transportation to site locations.
