Job Title: Master Pastry Executive

We are seeking an accomplished and innovative leader to oversee the development and production of our bakery and pastry department.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Create and innovate new recipes for baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
    • Evaluate products to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Product Development:
    • Oversee daily production of baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
    • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients.
  • Culinary Team Management:
    • Lead, train, and motivate a team of bakers and pastry chefs.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.
    • Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency.
  • Menu Planning:
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus featuring baked goods and pastries.
    • Evaluate seasonal and themed products to be developed and implemented.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head Baker or Pastry Chef.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in management.
  • Strong baking and pastry skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., diploma, degree).
