Research Position Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Research Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at the National University of Singapore. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with experts in epidemiology, health geography, statistical modeling, and computer science to better understand the geographic spread of mosquito-transmitted viruses in Southeast Asia under future climate change scenarios.

Job Description:

  • To work on a series of infectious disease transmission and control studies using statistical/AI models.
  • To contribute to the development of innovative solutions for understanding the geographic spread of dengue in Southeast Asia.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent professional qualifications in an epidemiology/health geography/statistical/mathematical/quantitative discipline.
  • Relevant research experience in infectious disease modeling, statistical modeling, AI, and computer programming.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and geographic information systems (GIS).
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their applications in epidemiology.
