Technical Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert consultation, system design, and solution proposals to sales teams across the region.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Support presales activities: You will be responsible for site surveys, client meetings, technical presentations, and system demonstrations.
  • Provide technical consultation: You will offer technical consultation, system design, and solution proposals for sales teams across regional projects.
  • Ensure accuracy of system configurations: You will ensure the accuracy of system configurations and quotations for the region.
  • Deliver technical training: You will deliver technical training to regional sales and technical teams.
  • Provide post-sales technical support: You will provide post-sales technical support to project managers/engineers when required.
  • Assist with testing and commissioning: You will assist with testing and commissioning (T&C) for regional projects.
  • Prepare professional customer training materials: You will prepare and deliver professional customer training materials.
  • Maintain service quality: You will ensure service quality and compliance with organizational standards and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience: You should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in security, electronics, or small-scale electronic project implementation and commissioning, ideally in a multinational environment.
  • Basic IT knowledge: You should have basic IT knowledge in security hardware, networks, and databases.
  • Familiarity with security systems: Familiarity with security systems is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in technical presales: Prior experience in technical presales is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills: You should have strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service-oriented: You should be customer service-oriented with a proactive, fast-learning mindset.
