Senior Site Engineer Job Description

As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be instrumental in delivering major projects that transform Singapore and its transportation systems. You will work closely with the project manager to ensure timely completion of construction/civils works, while maintaining a safe and smooth progress of civils work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the project manager in site supervision works
  • Coordinate sub-contract works, prepare method statements, and check drawing discrepancies
  • Manage and ensure timely completion of construction/civils works
  • Plan and prepare programs, lead the civils team
  • Control and maintain safe and smooth progress of civils work
  • Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation
  • Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
  • Responsible for all aspects of site safety

Requirements:

  • A recognized civil engineering degree or diploma in C.E/Structural/Built Environment
  • 5+ years' experience working on infrastructure projects for a contractor
  • Possess building construction supervisor safety course or similar certification
  • Project experience in highways, cycling paths, railways, road construction, bridges, drainage, earthwork, and soil improvement works
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project skills
  • High self-motivation, good working attitude, high level of professionalism, and integrity
  • Good team player and adaptable to dynamic environment
