Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities systems such as Central Chiller System, Building Management Systems, Electrical Systems, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) cleanroom and non-cleanroom areas, Fire Protection & Detection, Cleanroom System, Reverse Osmosis DI Water Purification System, and Waste Treatment Plant.
  • The incumbent will also be responsible for attending to any facility works and Mechanical and Electrical installations including coordination with contractors on repair works.
  • Provides line support to production and performs machine installations such as power hook-up, Cleanroom Development Area, Photovoltaic System, and PCW setup in the production floor.
  • Performs in-house servicing of cooling towers, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Fan Filter Units, filter cleaning & replacement, strainers, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Performs periodic monitoring and auditing of both Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Cleanroom Contamination Environmental Control programs.
  • Prepares and provides daily & monthly reports.
  • Assists engineer in consolidating all service reports.
  • Assists engineer to manage contract vendors to carry out equipment maintenance schedule.

Key Requirements

  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in related field with working knowledge in cleanroom environment.
  • Able to work office shift / 12 hours rotating shift.
