APAC Data Center Controls Design Lead

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controls Design Engineer to lead our team in the design of Data Centers across the APAC portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of innovative solutions to enhance reliability and collaboration with internal and external groups.
Responsibilities:
- Manage data center redundancy, mechanical failure strategies, energy and water conservation best practices, and data reporting analytics.
- Collaborate with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify appropriate controls equipment.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data center or mission critical facility design.
- 8+ years as design lead on projects with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of various code requirements across the APAC region.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of building operations, mechanical plant strategies, EPMS/BMS programming concepts, control diagrams, industrial HVAC, electrical line-ups, one line diagrams, and complex environmental and electrical concepts.
- Able to explain complex systems in clear language, operate in high security critical environments while maximizing productivity, innovate new solutions to support initiatives, teams, and company goals, and collaborate with regional vendors and manufacturers.
- Travel globally as needed to manage and support project initiatives.
