Director of Electronic Manufacturing

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Singapore

The Director will play a critical role in shaping and driving the company's strategic direction, ensuring operational efficiency, quality compliance, and profitability. This role requires a strong background in electronic manufacturing, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term business strategies in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Drive growth initiatives, including new market development, strategic partnerships, and product innovation, to drive business expansion.
  • Represent the company in high-level meetings with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including supply chain, production planning, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to budgets and KPIs.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, and product quality.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of managers and senior engineers.
  • Foster a high-performance, safety-conscious, and collaborative culture.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in electronic manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record in driving operational excellence and strategic growth.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (e.g., SMT, PCB assembly, test & inspection).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and decision-making capabilities.
