Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and design, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams and customers/consultants on a day-to-day basis.

  • Prepare project documents including bills of quantities (BQ).
  • Handle design and build projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop optimized design solutions for projects.
  • Prepare single-line drawings and layouts.
  • Conduct design calculations, including voltage drop and short circuit current.
  • Support multiple M&E projects concurrently.
  • Lead project meetings and work with team members to achieve timely deliverables.
  • Ensure drawings and documents are well maintained and stored in a timely manner.

Requirements

The following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on M&E experience in the construction industry, LTA projects, or mixed developments.
  • Familiarity with Singapore codes, such as SS638 (CP5), SS650, and SS555.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD drawings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Revit/Navisworks) is advantageous.
  • Consultancy experience is preferred.
  • Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, being meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
