Senior Administrative Leadership Position

This is a senior administrative role that oversees the day-to-day operations of a department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to manage a team effectively.

The successful candidate will support the Assistant Director to manage the unit and ensure efficient administrative support, resource planning, and smooth operations to achieve departmental goals.

The role involves developing and overseeing departmental strategies, monitoring financial transactions, managing vendor relationships, and evaluating vendors for optimal contract terms and quality.

  • Develop strategic plans to allocate resources efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and monitor budget compliance.
  • Evaluate and recommend vendors for contracts.
  • Implement cost-effective procurement practices.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Oversee corporate insurance policies and claims.
  • Mitigate risks and develop policies to manage corporate assets and inventories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading contract renewals and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintaining a robust vendor management system.
  • Collaborating with leadership to develop strategic initiatives.
  • Driving operational improvements and process efficiencies.
  • Facilitating communication within the department and organization.
  • Developing training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Overseeing daily office administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.
