Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Maintenance Specialist

Energize Your Career with Our Team as a Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Manage contractors and oversee maintenance activities to guarantee compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance works, including procedures, labor and equipment requirements.
  • Conduct daily, periodical and shutdown maintenance works in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
  • Analyze engineering studies of electrical works for modifications, revamping or upgrading of plant facilities.
  • Investigate plant problems, evaluate findings and recommend countermeasures to enhance system reliability.
  • Manage and maintain proper maintenance records and reports according to industrial and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure stock levels of spare parts inventory are maintained.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and contractors to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Optimize maintenance costs within budget constraints.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance or engineering.
  • Diploma holders with more years of experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience in chemicals or petrochemical environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of PLC or DCS systems is preferred.
  • Self-driven, independent and resourceful individual.
  • Effective team player with good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work overtime when required.
  • Will to work on Jurong Island.
