Job Description:

The Academic Capability and Conduct Advisor plays a vital role in identifying and supporting at-risk students through early intervention strategies. This position requires the ability to provide academic skills development, ensure academic integrity, manage academic misconduct processes, and address general misconduct matters in accordance with policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include continuously monitoring students' academic performance, attendance, and engagement to detect signs of academic or personal difficulties. The ideal candidate will implement structured processes to identify at-risk students and formulate personalized 'Pathway to Success' plans aimed at enhancing academic progress.

Additionally, this role involves providing consistent tracking and tailored support to Conditional students, students reprieved from termination, and those on Student Progression Agreements. The successful candidate will assess the effectiveness of support measures provided to these students, making adjustments where necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures relating to academic misconduct and general misconduct are communicated to all students and reviewed regularly for continual improvement. Additionally, this role involves reviewing the student learning support and development process to ensure students achieve the desired learning outcomes and for continual improvement.
