Job Title

Sales Representative

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with experience in driving and operating a van. They will be responsible for visiting assigned retail outlets to sell products as per route schedule, processing customer orders accurately, collecting payments if required, and completing required paperwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit assigned retail outlets to sell products as per route schedule.
  • Process customer orders accurately, collect payments if required, and complete required paperwork.
  • B achieved strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and promote products effectively.
  • Manage returns from customers, ensuring proper documentation and processing.
  • Bild positive relationships with store managers and staff.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Prepare, load and unload stocks to & from the truck efficiently and accurately, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
  • Check stock levels and accuracy where necessary.
  • Perform basic van maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, gas and oil levels, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a valid driver license and good driver record.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by HOD.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Min 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Previous van sales experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
  • Possess Class 3 driving license.
