Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to drive the development and implementation of complex electrical systems with a focus on power generation, distribution, and control. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and guidance to a team while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in electrical engineering principles, robotics power systems, and energy management. He/She will play a key role in shaping our organisation's strategic direction in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and performance management to a team of electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration of electrical components with mechanical and software systems.
  • Lead the selection of components, wiring, and connectors for electrical and power systems, considering factors such as performance, cost, and sustainability.
  • Oversee the analysis and testing of complex power systems and electrical components, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of the full power system and electrical design process from concept to production, providing technical support during manufacturing and testing.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into project designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in robotics power systems and electrical engineering.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Expertise in electrical design tools (e.g., E3.series, SOLIDWORKS Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Strong understanding of robotics power electronics, circuit theory, and energy management.
  • Experience in robotics, automotive, or commercial products.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and emerging trends in robotics power systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
