Job Opportunity: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist in the field of IT.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback on software quality assurance methodologies.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for software testing.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for software applications.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using automated testing tools for software development.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs in software applications.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in IT related field or equivalent experience in software development.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Software Testing (Web Application/Mobile Application).
  • Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools and processes.
