Job Title: IT Infrastructure Leadership Position

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the strategic development and management of our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of server/storage systems, cloud platforms, and networks. This key leadership role demands technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Maintain proactive monitoring and upgrades to ensure infrastructure capacity meets current and future needs.
  • Oversee administration of servers, networks, storage, databases, and cloud systems, including timely backups and patching.
  • Provide end-user support for laptops/desktops and ensure smooth operation of IT systems and services.
  • Lead the deployment and support of on-premise and cloud-based servers and network infrastructures, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity controls and ensure adherence to regulatory standards, such as GDPR and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Incident Response plans, ensuring organizational resilience.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of the IT infrastructure team, promoting cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Negotiate service contracts with vendors and manage IT budgets to optimize cost efficiency.

Requirements:

A degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering or related fields is essential, along with at least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in network administration, server management, cloud platforms, virtualization, and cybersecurity, with professional certifications highly valued.
