Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing the month-end closing process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounts payable (AP) and general ledger (GL), and managing payments efficiently.

The Financial Operations Specialist will also reconcile inter-company transactions and balances, collaborate with business units to ensure smooth daily accounting operations, and liaise with suppliers and bankers as necessary.

In addition, this position will support financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and assist with year-end audit preparation, tax computation, and submission of statutory requirements.

The Financial Operations Specialist will maintain the accounting system, handle ad-hoc assignments and reporting, prepare investment schedules, internal and external audits, quarterly grant submissions, and property/income tax computations, and assist in preparing financial statements.

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting concepts, proficiency in MS Excel, familiarity with Microsoft Navision, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external parties.

The ideal candidate should be independent, meticulous, well-organized, and a strong team player, detail-oriented, accountable, and capable of working independently.
