Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintaining a safe working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain receipts, records and withdrawals of the warehouse
  • Perform general store duties, e.g. receiving, picking, packing of outgoing shipment
  • Verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels
  • Perform overall inventory management
  • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment and necessary minor repairs
  • Perform general administrative tasks, e.g. data entry and filing of documents
  • Receive request orders from inventory system and perform related tasks
  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas and in strict compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
  • 'O' level or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory control in light industry
  • PC literate, e.g. MS Office
  • Good in written and spoken English
  • Possess valid forklift license and able to operate forklift
  • Possess knowledge of inventory system is an added advantage
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and may require working beyond office hours if situation dictates
