Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned investment professional to join our team as an Investment Director (Private Equity). The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing, structuring, and managing private equity investments, with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure.

As part of our global asset management and operator headquartered in Singapore, you will contribute to our mission of driving impactful investments. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of private equity investment strategies, overseeing all aspects of the deal lifecycle, and presenting investment opportunities to our Investment Committee.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing private equity investment strategies focused on renewable energy and infrastructure
  • Overseeing all aspects of the deal lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiation
  • Presenting investment opportunities and recommendations to the Investment Committee
  • Monitoring and managing portfolio companies to ensure alignment with our strategic and financial objectives
  • Developing and implementing value creation plans for portfolio companies to maximize returns
  • Actively participating in portfolio governance, including attending board meetings and advising management teams
  • Conducting market research to identify emerging investment opportunities in renewable energy and infrastructure
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, financial institutions, and government bodies
  • Driving business development initiatives to expand our footprint in Asia-Pacific and other regions
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture
  • Providing oversight and strategic direction to ensure successful execution of investment initiatives

For this role, we require a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field, with significant exposure to renewable energy investments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing and executing complex investment transactions, delivering value in private equity portfolios, and possessing excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.

  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
