Job Title: Procurement and Contracts Coordinator
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, analyzing cost comparisons, obtaining quotations, and negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers. Additionally, they will measure quantities, take off, prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement, and sub-contractor payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze cost comparison data to inform procurement decisions
- Negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Measure and record quantities accurately
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, and settlement documents
- Manage sub-contractor payments and settle outstanding amounts
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will require a Degree or Diploma in Building or its equivalent and at least 10 years of experience as a deputy contracts/contracts manager in main-con companies. You must have proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
