This role involves providing financial deal due diligence, controllership, treasury and funding, valuation management, investment operations, accounting, financial reporting, and special purpose vehicle management for global long-term investments.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with reviewing valuations models for private market assets to ensure accurate financial assessments.
- Identify key valuation drivers and establish valuation risk monitoring frameworks to minimize potential risks.
- Handle analysis of valuation-related information including reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow models to provide comprehensive insights.
- Review and improve valuation procedures for private market assets in accordance with firm-wide valuation policies.
- Ensure consistent methodologies and efficient processes are in place for valuations of private market assets with proper documentation.
- Strong academic background in Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field to analyze complex financial data.
- At least 6-8 years of experience in credit valuations, preferably in private market investment valuation/risk management to leverage expertise.
- Strong experience analyzing financial statements and cash flow modeling to identify trends and patterns.
- Ability to review valuation methodologies and develop strategies to optimize results.
- Experience with illiquid assets to navigate complex financial situations.
