Job Title: Autism Educator Position

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as an Autism Educator. In this role, you will work with students who have autism spectrum disorder and provide them with a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of students with autism;
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality education and care;
  • Support and coach teacher assistants in their roles;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and techniques for working with students with autism;
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and programs that meet the learning requirements of students with autism;
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge;

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree or polytechnic diploma from a reputable institution;
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education are advantageous;
  • Mandatory 5 credits in GCE 'O' level, with a pass in English and Mathematics;
  • Preferably 3 years of experience at secondary school level;
  • Familiarity with national curriculum frameworks is essential;
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and commitment to student success;
