Senior Building Designer Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Building Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing and refining design briefs with clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

  • You will conduct pre-design research on regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in project development, examining factors such as zoning laws and building codes.
  • You will brainstorm ideas and develop initial designs, taking into account client needs and goals.
  • As part of the senior design team, you will provide guidance and support to junior designers, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence within the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building design, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including zoning laws and building codes.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
