Job Opportunity

This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to curriculum delivery, making a meaningful impact on student outcomes.

  • Duties will involve designing and delivering lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE curriculum and AEIS syllabus, ensuring a high standard of education for international students.
  • You will teach exam techniques, study methods, and time management strategies specific to AEIS, equipping students with the skills necessary to succeed in their exams.
  • The ideal candidate will develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and mock exam papers that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Monitoring student progress, providing remedial support where needed, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, results, and lesson coverage via the school's LMS are essential aspects of this position.
  • Academic counselling and regular feedback to students and parents will be provided to ensure their needs are met and expectations are managed.

Requirements

  • Candidates should have a relevant educational background and a recognized teaching qualification (PGDE, CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent).
  • Prior experience teaching international students or preparing students for AEIS/S-AEIS is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore MOE syllabus and Primary/Secondary O LEVEL exam format is required.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching, patience, care, and responsibility towards student well-being.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and comply with EduTrust and school policies is mandatory.
