This team collaborates closely with traders, sales personnel, and quantitative analysts to design and implement mission-critical systems used in global trading operations.
Engineers contribute directly to the build-out of high-performance applications used for electronic trading, with a focus on cross-asset functionality and scalable system architecture.
Responsibilities:- Lead the development and optimization of high-performance pricing and risk computation services for use in front-office trading
- Collaborate with traders, sales, and quantitative developers to translate complex model requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
- Work with platform and infrastructure teams to integrate pricing outputs into electronic distribution channels.
- Ensure code quality through robust unit and regression testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor peers and contribute to architectural planning, with a focus on performance, security, and operational reliability.
- Manage concurrent development streams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar front-office engineering role delivering trading or risk solutions
- Proficient in Core Java (JDK 11+), with strong understanding of multi-threaded and event-driven programming paradigms
- Experience working directly with end-users in trading or quant teams
- Familiarity with building real-time systems and low-latency messaging infrastructure
- Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices
