Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in high-precision semiconductor equipment. In this role, you will ensure the safety and reliability of our cutting-edge products by conducting design reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and coordinating with auditors to obtain necessary compliance certifications.

This position requires strong expertise in electrical/mechanical safety principles and hazard mitigation. You will conduct assessments of product designs to ensure compliance with international safety standards and work closely with design engineers to integrate safety requirements early in the development lifecycle.

  • Conduct pre-audit assessments of product designs to ensure compliance with international safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL, SEMI, CE, NFPA, ISO).
  • Work closely with design engineers to integrate safety requirements early in the product development lifecycle.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and recommend design modifications to mitigate risks.
  • Stay updated on evolving global safety regulations relevant to semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving compliance certifications and experience with risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA, HAZOP). Proficiency in CAD/PLM tools for design review is also a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product safety engineering, preferably in semiconductor equipment, industrial machinery, or high-tech manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of achieving compliance certifications (e.g., CE, UL, IEC 60204, SEMI S2/S8).
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as CE, IEC 60204, NFPA 79.
  • Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical safety principles and hazard mitigation.
