We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level DBA with expertise in managing, administering, and optimizing large-scale Oracle databases. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage high-availability, disaster-recovery, and backup strategies for Oracle databases.
  • Perform advanced database performance tuning, query optimization, and index management using tools like AWR, ASH, and TKPROF.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and monitoring using PL/SQL, Shell scripting, or Ansible.
  • Implement and enforce database security, roles, and user access controls.
  • Maintain and support complex database configurations, including version control, patching, and upgrades.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle databases, with at least 3 years in a senior/L3 role.
  • Expertise in Oracle internals, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle, or Azure Database for Oracle.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident/change/problem management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
