Housekeeping Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily housekeeping operations, ensuring seamless room cleaning, laundry, and maintenance services
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service quality and adhere to hotel standards
  • Plan and implement housekeeping schedules, optimize resources, and minimize waste
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly, fostering a positive guest experience
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing necessary protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality or related field, preferably with 4+ years of management experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record in leading high-performing teams, driving results, and delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera PMS systems, with willingness to learn new technologies
