Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mobility status, physical strength, joint motion, cardiopulmonary endurance, balance, fall risk, and pain level.
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to improve or restore range of motion, physical strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and endurance.
- Provide training to therapists and caregivers on wheelchair transfers and other mobility-related topics.
- Offer guidance on the use of assistive ambulatory devices such as walking aids and prosthetic devices.
- Lead caregiver training and patient education sessions.
- Promote community integration activities that cater to patients' needs.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree or diploma in physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the relevant healthcare board.
- 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in local languages is an advantage.
- A self-motivated attitude towards continuous learning and education in physiotherapy.
