Job Title: Laboratory Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our laboratory team as a Calibration Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily calibration and testing tasks in compliance with established procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily calibration and testing tasks in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and international standards.
  • Identify and report defective or non-conforming equipment and instruments, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate sampling, repeat cycles of measurements, and proper completion of calibration procedures in line with international/national standards.
  • Prepare calibration data clearly and accurately in job order forms, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Perform and verify budget uncertainty calculations in accordance with GUM (Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement).
  • Analyze calibration data and expanded uncertainties, ensuring compliance with the laboratory's calibration and measurement capability (CMC).
  • Provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and comply with 5S / 7S practices, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of reference instruments.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with WSH and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good working attitude and strong team player.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
