Job Overview:

Yishun Health is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Operations Manager to oversee the management of accounts payable function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely invoice verification, recording, and payment processing, as well as timely vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies resolution.

In addition, the role will involve proper and accurate maintenance of vendor records, performing and monitoring month-end and year-end accruals and analysis, managing procurement-related functions and approval, liaising with auditors on internal and statutory audit, preparing/reviewing audit schedules, and following up on long outstanding open items.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or professional qualification in accounting, with at least 5 years of working experience in management of Accounts Payable function, or in lieu of professional qualification, more than 15 years of working experience in management of Accounts Payable function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable function, including invoice verification, recording, and payment processing
  • Reconcile and resolve vendor statements in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
  • Perform and monitor month-end and year-end accruals and analysis
  • Manage procurement-related functions and approval
  • Liaise with auditors on internal and statutory audit
  • Prepare/review audit schedules and follow up on long outstanding open items

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualification in accounting
  • At least 5 years of working experience in management of Accounts Payable function, or in lieu of professional qualification, more than 15 years of working experience in management of Accounts Payable function
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a good grasp of accounting principles
  • Possesses good time management skills and is able to work well in a team
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
