Job Title:

Test Process Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage production test equipment to meet departmental goals.

  • Meet Cost, Responsiveness & Quality objectives by optimizing test processes and improving yield.
  • Track CAPEX spending to stay within allocated budgets.
  • Coach subordinates, implement company policies, and drive LEAN opportunities on manufacturing lines.
  • Provide technical expertise and resource training to staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with future Manufacturing Testing developments and support their implementation.
  • Implement plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Manage planning, executing, and monitoring of quality, process, and yield improvements.
  • Develop and promote new technologies and processes that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead teams in manufacturing testing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop cost-effective manufacturing processes with high quality standards.
  • Consult as a subject matter expert in Manufacturing Test.
  • Offer expert advice on qualification support for new line setups.
  • Oversee the management of new product and process start-ups, transfers, and change management initiatives.

Requirements:

- Degree holders in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Production Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

- At least 15 years of working experience, with 12 years in manufacturing testing environments and at least 3 years in managerial/supervisory roles (for those interested in leadership positions).

- Independent work ability under minimal supervision.

- Proficient oral and written communication skills.

- Strong time management, analytical problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
