Are you a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning technician looking for a challenging role in marine HVAC systems? Do you have experience with installation, testing, overhauling compressors, and troubleshooting/servicing of air-conditioning and refrigeration units?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an HVAC Service Technician where you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of marine HVAC systems. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other technicians and supervisors to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, test, and maintain marine HVAC systems including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
2. Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC issues in marine environments.
3. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
4. Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
5. Update daily progress reports to keep management informed of job completion status.
6. Coordinate work activities with other technicians and supervisors to ensure completion of tasks within given timelines.
7. Prepare survey/inspection reports and estimate labor and materials for future projects.
8. Communicate proactively with clients and crew members on technical issues, solutions, and recommendations.
9. Coach junior team members to enhance their skills level.
10. Comply with all safety rules and regulations at all times.

Requirements:
1. Possess certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning studies or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. At least 2 years' working experience in marine RHVAC systems.
3. In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycle theory, line components, circuit flushing, refrigerant recovery, pressure testing, and vacuuming.
4. In-depth knowledge of electrical circuit diagrams and HVAC Controls (Electrical and PLC).
5. Good written and verbal communication and coaching skills.
6. Good analytical skills.
7. Able to work long hours under hot and humid conditions due to exigency of work on board vessels and in shipyards.
8. Team player with positive attitude and willing to learn and teach.
9. Able to work independently.
10. Proficient in RHVAC troubleshooting and good knowledge in compressor overhauling.
