Marine Engineering Technician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineering Technician to fill this challenging role. As a Marine Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for conducting basic installations of technical solutions, escalating technical issues, and performing troubleshooting and deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Deployment: Conduct basic installation of technical solutions following predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Escalate technical issues to more senior level technical specialists and support them in complex deployments.
  • Customer Relationships: Establish and build positive customer relationships by adherence to prompt onsite arrival time, technical expertise, knowledge of customer environment, professionalism, and periodic visits as needed.
  • Part Replacement: Perform part replacements as directed by the technical support lab, including timely and accurate submission of associated documentation and part return within 24 hours of the event.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Internships: Proven experience in internships related to marine engineering.
  • Diesel Generators: Knowledge of diesel generators and their applications.
  • Teamwork: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Shipyards: Familiarity with shipyards and marine equipment.
  • Automotive Repair: Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Diesel Engine: Experience working with diesel engines and their components.
  • Marine Engineering: Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
  • Marine Equipment: Familiarity with marine equipment and their applications.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
