About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Medical and Scientific Affairs team as a Medical Affairs Intern. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical affairs-related processes, activities, and their role in the R&D ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support ongoing medical-led projects and workstreams related to the OTC category, with a focus on claims support, scientific literature reviews, and evidence generation.
  • Participate in the development of category and product claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct literature reviews and scientific analysis to inform innovation projects and support business decisions.
  • Be trained on related platforms and systems, including those used for scientific document preparation, approval, and review.
  • Contribute to evidence generation using AIML initiatives and claim trackers.
  • Learn how to generate scientific documents, such as claim support summaries, response documents to health authorities, medical information, and scientific modules.
Learning Outcomes
  • Gain experience and participate in medical affairs-related processes, activities, and their role in the R&D ecosystem.
  • Develop skills in a multidisciplinary team environment in a fast-paced Consumer Health organization.
  • Learn various processes and platforms that support medical affairs activities.
  • Gain a high-level understanding of scientific and business aspects of OTC categories.
Requirements
  • Currently studying Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related degree (undergraduates completed Year 2 or Year 3 when starting the role).
  • Proficient in the use of IT and software systems, database systems, and presentation skills.
