Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Corporate Travel Programs in the Asia Pacific region. As the Director, Corporate Travel, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and innovation in corporate travel and entertainment (T&E) programs for our issuers.

About the Role:

  • You will own and drive our Corporate T&E segment strategy in Asia Pacific across a variety of issuers, collaborating with key partners both internal and external to execute Visa's strategy while meeting issuers' and corporates' needs in the T&E user journey.
  • Drive product development, enhancements of CVPs, introduction of VCS Services to meet corporate needs, and provide best practices guidelines for corporates and government to benchmark their current program and evaluate recommendations for future growth plans.
  • Work collaboratively with client deal teams to develop and execute sales pipeline in Corporate T&E Programs in the region, introducing new B2B products and services as appropriate.
  • As the voice of the market clients, you will provide feedback, develop product plans, and collaborate with global LMM Core product teams to prioritize and maintain product roadmap to drive future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and innovation in corporate travel and entertainment (T&E) programs for our issuers.
  • Collaborate with key partners both internal and external to execute Visa's strategy while meeting issuers' and corporates' needs in the T&E user journey.
  • Drive product development, enhancements of CVPs, introduction of VCS Services to meet corporate needs.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in driving corporate T&E programs in AP, preferably with issuers or large enterprises.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing new strategies and product execution for corporate T&E programs will be at an advantage.
  • Worked with ecosystem players such as travel enablers, travel agencies, and other vendors that support corporate needs.
  • Understand and solve for corporate travel and card program needs by working directly with mid to large corporates and/or government.
  • Understand the applications and sell-in of product/solution offered in this use case, including expense management system, data integration, central travel account (CTA) product, virtual card payments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Candidate with commercial card and/or payments experience.
  • Experience in end-to-end process of corporate travel expense, including data integration.
  • Experience in working with travel partners, including Travel Agencies, Tech enablers.
  • Ability to support and execute complex product or client deals or partnerships from negotiation, to closing and through delivery, with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral & presentation) with an ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way.
