Job Opportunity:

As a key team member, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the administration of Oracle databases.

  • Takes up technical tasks and support day-to-day operational tasks/Incidents/RFC's.
  • Supports the team during diagnosis when technical issues rise in their scope of expertise.
  • Proposes process improvements for all database services supported throughout the organization.
  • Provides technical knowledge and supports services both proactively and reactively to maintain the availability and reliability of database system infrastructure in accordance with the SLA.

The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge on 12c & 19c databases along with RAC and troubleshooting knowledge on critical problems and areas like CM, Apache, Database etc. They should also have expertise on backup utilities like RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP, and Networker, as well as good understanding on performance tuning in Oracle database.

Mandatory Skills:
  • RAC/Exadata Administration
  • Oracle Apps DBA with expertise and working knowledge on R12.1.x / R12.2.x environment
  • Sound Knowledge on 12c & 19c databases along with RAC
  • Troubleshooting knowledge on critical problems and areas like CM, Apache, Database etc
  • Knowledge on OCI,DBASS utilities
  • Exacc patching (DOM0,DOMU,GRID,DATABASE)
  • Installation, Upgrade & configuration of Oracle software.
  • Should have knowledge of Oracle RAC installation and configuration & management.
  • Must have Oracle ASM/ACFS implementation skills.
  • Good understanding of ANSIBLE/PYTHON/UNIX scripts.
  • Expertise on backup utilities like RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP, and Networker.
  • Good understanding on performance tuning in Oracle database.
  • Should have knowledge of Oracle OEM 12C/13C.
  • Expertise in query fine tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Implement backup and recovery of Oracle DB.
  • Administration over DB Objects including Tables, Clusters, Views, Procedures etc.
  • Good in Impact Analysis of DB
  • Strong experience on configure and troubleshoot physical standby database using dataguard broker.
  • Implement backup and recovery of Oracle databases for various scenarios.
  • In-depth understanding of Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, RAC, ASM, EXACC).
  • Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards.
  • Must have experience in Database tuning including I/O, Load Analysis, ADDR, AWR, SQL Profiling etc.
  • Responsible for installation, upgrades (Database, EXACC and RAC), patches, SR support, database tuning.
  • Capable of delivering under critical environment pressure, resolve complex production issues & provide support when required;
  • Proven track record for BAU tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; · Independent and strong team player with good inter-personal skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Good scripting(shell/ANSIBLE/PYTHON) skills to automate regular DBA admin tasks.
  • Strong experience on configures and troubleshoot golden gate replication components.
  • Banking domain experience will be an added advantage.
