Job Overview:

This role is a key member of the Corporate Solutions division, supporting the Business Underwriting team in driving business growth and profitability through pricing and risk assessment.

As an Analyst, you will determine insurance product pricing to minimize excess risks and maximize profits and retention.

You will also develop new products and enhance existing ones, refreshing pricing assumptions and conducting regular experience analysis.

Additionally, you will ensure timely submission of reports and assist in reinsurance treaty review and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing and Risk Assessment: Determine insurance product pricing to minimize excess risks and maximize profits and retention.
  • Product Development and Experience Analysis: Develop new products and enhance existing ones, refreshing pricing assumptions and conducting regular experience analysis.
  • Reinsurance Management and Administration: Ensure timely submission of reports and assist in reinsurance treaty review and negotiation.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Studies or Mathematics & Statistics.
  • At least 2-7 years of actuarial experience in Group Insurance/Employee Benefits/Health Insurance.
  • Professional actuarial qualification from a recognized international actuary body.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and at least one programming language.
  • Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

To succeed in this role, you must have meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Effective project management and prioritization skills are also essential.

Ability to work independently and within a team is required.
