Public Policy Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research to inform government policy and improve communications on socio-economic issues.
- Develop partnerships with key agencies and engage stakeholders across the public sector.
- IDentify policy and communications gaps and design evidence-based approaches.
- Provide insights on public policy issues using a broad understanding of policies and research tools.
This role involves conducting research and analysis on public opinion trends to inform policy and improve communications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong degree in Political Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics or related fields.
Knowledge of statistics and research methods is essential, with experience in SPSS and data visualization an advantage.
Able to work independently and exercise initiative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements- Good degree from a recognised university in Political Science, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics or related disciplines.
- Knowledge and understanding of fundamental statistics and research methods.
- Knowledge of SPSS will be advantageous; familiarity with Python or R and data visualization is a bonus.
- Strong observational and analytical capabilities.
- Able to exercise initiative and work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in communications and public policy issues.
