Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

Your primary focus will be on developing monitoring and health check capabilities for applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering and SRE teams to design, implement, and maintain these capabilities, ensuring they meet the needs of our business.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong technical skills, including experience with scripting languages, databases, middleware components, and web technologies. You should also have a good understanding of Java, Python, JavaScript, and Shell Scripting, as well as knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kafka, and relational SQL databases.

Additionally, you will need excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop monitoring and health check capabilities for applications and infrastructure
  • Work with engineering and SRE teams to design, implement, and maintain these capabilities
  • Provide support for monitoring and health check capabilities developed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SRE or related field
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with scripting languages, databases, middleware components, and web technologies
  • Good understanding of Java, Python, JavaScript, and Shell Scripting
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kafka, and relational SQL databases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
