At UPPER SPRING CONSULTING PTE. LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Loan Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our corporate banking team, you will be responsible for managing the recovery of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and ensuring timely reporting to management and head office.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective recovery strategies for NPL accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present recovery proposals to management for approval, utilizing strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Monitor and follow up on NPL accounts, identifying potential risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate banking and legal departments, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Review and analyze monthly management reports on collection and recovery, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Negotiate with borrowers and external parties, such as lawyers and judicial managers, to resolve NPL issues.
- Ensure post-loan management and NPL collection activities are carried out in accordance with head office and branch management requirements.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to asset quality management, ensuring alignment with head office and management goals.
- Review and formulate branch systems, procedures, and requirements for material risk event management, NPL management, and collection work.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff, promoting team development and growth.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in NPL management, with a strong background in corporate banking and recovery.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Managerial experience preferred, with a proven track record of success in NPL recovery and management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for bank bad credit collection and legal terms in restructuring, litigation, repossession, and liquidation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and make sound judgments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and data analysis skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
