Construction Operations Director

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Operations Director to lead our construction activities.
  • You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising construction projects from start to finish.
  • Your expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management will ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, organize, and supervise construction activities including monitoring of project scheduling activities.
  2. Coordinate work with all parties involved (Authorities, Main Contractor, Sub-Contractor, and Supplier etc).
  3. Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with Senior Project Manager/Managing Director.
  4. Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, and manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
  5. Project Management including planning, negotiation & purchasing of major equipment, resources, competent sub-contractor/supplier for the project.
  6. Overall management, controlling, and monitoring of labor, plant, and material at site.
  7. Control and coordination of sub-contractors/suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  8. Liaison with client's representatives and consultants to complete the project in compliance with contract obligations.
  9. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise before and after the project commencement.
  10. Provide updates and reports to company management on the project status regularly.
  11. Manage the work activities and performance of sub-contractor/supplier, assess supplier's/sub-contractor's performance at the end of the project.
  12. Prepare, workout, submit, and maintain VO schedule till finalization.
